Beginning Ring Class
Try a bit of metalsmithing. In this single class you’ll make one sterling silver band ring. Everything is provided including - metal, tools, torch and polishing machines. This fun filled 2 1/2 hour class includes all supplies and is $60 per person. Call or text 801-695-7302 to schedule your class.
Series One ~ 4 Sessions
In this fun yet fast-paced series of four classes you will start to learn to skill of metalsmithing. You are provided instruction, copper, sterling silver metals and semiprecious stones to make beautiful jewelry. Based on how comfortable you feel with processes and tools it's possible to make several or all of these pieces; copper and sterling bands, a set-stone ring, a set-stone pendant and a silver and copper cuff. All tools, torches, polishing machines, and metals and stones are included in the four class series. Each class is 2 1/2 hours. Series Two ~ 4 Sessions
In this second series of four classes you will continue the lessons of metalsmithing you have learned in Series One while advancing your skills by using more detailed techniques and tools. In this series we will work to create more complex projects. You will learn more detailed soldering techniques, sawing skills and safety, settings more complex stones and learn the basics of incorporating new metals, copper or brass into your sterling silver pieces. Each of the four fast-paced classes in Series Two is 2 1/2 hours cost $575 per person. As with all classes all supplies and usage of tools is included.
